Did you know clause 59.13 in the Residential Tenancy Agreement?

ADDITIONAL TERM – TENANT’S CARE AND USE OF THE RESIDENTIAL PREMISES

59.13 not to store rubbish, unregistered vehicles, any inflammable, dangerous or hazardous chemical, liquid or gas (with the exception of any petrol or gas stored in a fuel tank of ay registered motor vehicle) or other inflammable, dangerous or hazardous material on the residential premises, and storage of any items on the residential premises is at the tenant’s own risk.

This is a breach of the Residential Tenancy Agreement.

Agents need to be very diligent when undertaking Routine Inspections. Four inspections are allowed in any 12-month period.

Sometimes we find either damaged or vehicle under repair on the Residential premises. Car enthusiasts like to fix cars up and maybe re-sell them, but they must be registered.

Once the Council is notified, they will issue a notice saying they will be removing the Vehicle.
