Paying Rent

Learn everything there is to know about paying rent, our rules, and arrears notices with Arnold Property.

Payment of your rent to our office must always include your reference number. This number is provided to you on your lease front page.

Your first two weeks paid at the beginning of your tenancy (deposit/holding deposit) is applied to your first two weeks rent. Most tenants choose to live in the property for one week, then start paying rent – this keeps you a week in advance.

We do not accept cash rent payments at our office. The options available to you are as follows:

  1. Internet Banking directly into our account.
  2. Rent Deposit Book for the National Australia Bank.
  3. Automatic Transfer direct from your Bank or Building Society.
Remember your rent must always be paid up to date, paying your rent in its full rental figure (not split payments/odd amounts). Arnold Property frown heavily on Rent Arrears.

Non-payment of rent for 14+ days will result in a breach notice, and ultimately a termination should it continue.
